We’re so excited to welcome you back to the farm for our U-Pick Sunflower season! If you’re new here or a regular at Holland Ridge Farms, be sure to read the list below to get the most out of your experience…
1. Online tickets only
Everyone over the age of 3 must have a ticket to enter the farm. These can ONLY be purchased online at shop.hollandridgefarms.com. We are not selling any tickets at the door. Also, once tickets are sold out for a particular day or time slot, no more will become available. Infants 2 and under no longer require a ticket since they are free.
2. Download your tickets
Some phone carriers may have reduced service at the farm. We recommend you click the DOWNLOAD TICKETS button before you get here. You can even screenshot each ticket and save them to your camera roll. You do not need to print your tickets out on paper.
3. Three hour time slots
We have increased the number of time slots to better control the flow of guests and cars at the farm. You still get 3 hours in the farm, which is plenty to enjoy everything we have to offer. You must arrive and leave within your time slot. You cannot switch or change time slots after you have purchased your tickets.
4. Tickets are non-refundable
As always, tickets are final sale. Also, tickets can ONLY be used on the day and time you chose at checkout. They cannot be changed to different days or time slots. No exceptions.
5. Important travel information
Chambers Road leading to Rues Road will be closed during our u-pick season. Leaving this open would cause significant delays as it is a small one lane country road. As you get closer to the farm, please follow our event signs instead of your GPS.
6. Last entry 5pm sharp
If you have a 3pm – 6pm time slot, you must arrive at the farm no later than 5pm. The parking and entrance gate will be closed after that. If you arrive late, you will not be granted entry and will not get a refund. The farm also closes at 6, so all guests must leave the property by 6pm.
7. No pets allowed
No pets or emotional support animals of any kind are permitted at the farm. Certified service animals recognized by the ADA are permitted but must be wearing their vest.
8. Open rain or shine
We are a rain or shine event. No changes or refunds will be given if rain is forecast on the day of your visit. However, if the weather forecast is so severe and we decide to close the farm for safety reasons, all guests will automatically be notified and receive full refunds.
9. Prepare for farm terrain
Be prepared for a rustic outdoor environment. Cars will be parked on the field next to the farm which is made up of grass and dirt. Walking is required to get into the farm and to wander the flower fields. This includes walking on grass, dirt and gravel. Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome but can be difficult to navigate in some areas.
10. How to pick and pay
All of our flowers (except the mums) are available to pick for $1 per stem plus tax. We provide buckets and clippers as you enter the farm. Once you are ready to checkout, head to the Holland Shop to be sleeved. The flowers do not need water to travel home since they are freshly cut. Just add water to a vase when you get home.
10. Multiple food options everyday
We will have up to 10 delicious food trucks scheduled per day, not including the bakery barn which is also open 7 days a week. Come hungry, or build up your appetite by picking flowers! Click the link below to view our food truck calendar.
CDC guidelines are still in place
We continue to follow the guidance from the CDC. If and when any policies are put in place we will make post updates.
