If you’re like us, you’ve been anxiously awaiting the end of September so you can experience our glorious sunflower fields once again. With our Fall Flower Festival opening in just a couple of weeks, we’ve been busy getting everything ready to ensure you have the best time with your friends and family. That’s right- we said Fall Flower Festival. It’s still everything you love about U-Pick Sunflowers just with a new and improved name that matches all the new and improved activities we have to offer! So, whether you’ve already purchased your tickets, or you’re still waiting to, we can ensure this is something you’re not going to want to miss.

For our Fall Flower Festival, we decided to change it up a bit. For the first time ever, we’re introducing special event weekends that make our sunflower season even sweeter. That’s right, you can still take pictures, pick flowers and enjoy the same amenities we always offer just with these special add–ons. Oh yeah, and it’s still the same price we always charge! 

Who can say fall without thinking about pumpkins?! We’ve always sold pumpkins at our Holland Shop but this year we’ve taken it one step further. With pumpkins available to grab out in the fields, you can take photos of your little ones and pick some up to take home. It will feel like a real fall day out! 

We know you all love our furry farm friends as much as we do so we wanted to make them a bigger part of the event. If you came to U-Pick Tulips you would have seen our new Little Sprouts Feeding Zoo. The feeding zoo will be open for our Fall Flower Festival but it’s new and improved! To feed the animals all you need is .25 cents and it’s self serve. We have mini donkey’s, chickens, ducks, a mini cow, mini goats and more! On the weekends we will also have NEW horse and carriage rides and as always our pony rides. Please note: these are separate vendors so there is a separate fee to do these activities. Our “Big Buds” will still be located next to the red barn- make sure to go over and show them some love!

With the new farm being over 300+ acres, that means we have more fall flowers to pick than ever before. We’ve planted more sunflowers than years past … millions and millions of them! They even come in different colors including red, bi color, white, yellow and purple. Along with sunflowers you can also pick gladiolus, dahlias, lilies, calla lilies and mums. We can’t see what kinds of beautiful bouquets you come up with.  

If you don’t do well with change – you don’t have to worry! Our Fall Flower Festival still features all the fan favorites that you know and love. Your ticket gives you access to the entire farm and all it has to offer. We have food trucks and our famous Bakery Barn on site and open  7 days a week, you can take pictures with our new amazing photo props (we’ll share them soon!), pick as many flowers as you’d like for just $1 per stem and wander around enjoying the fresh air. Think of the farm as your fall playground. It’s a one stop shop for all your favorite fall activities.

Once the event opens on September 23rd, it will run until October 23rd. We are open 7 days a week from 9-6 but you must purchase tickets online before you come. Don’t come to the farm without a ticket! We will see you in the sunflower fields 🙂
